TED Prize

TED started out in 1984 as an annual conference bringing people together people working in Technology, Entertainment and Design. Since 2005, each year the TED Prize has been given to an exceptional individual with "One Wish to Change the World". The TED Prize winner is given $100,000 at the annual TED Conference, as well as the support and assistance of the TED community to help support the winner's wish. www.TEDprize.org
