BIO

Like many visionaries who dream of a more peaceful, just and sustainable world, Daniel Pettegrew woke up one morning resolved to doing whatever he could to help bring about world peace. As an artist, he has been using his gifts and talents to inspire hope for a better world. He was commissioned to carve twenty-five Doors of Hope -- beautifully engraved wooden doors for the Erin Kimball Memorial Foundation, which provides assistance to women who are victims of domestic violence. In 2007 he founded World Peace Gardens, which is devoted to creating gatherings and events to build community focused on sustainability, oneness and world peace. Daniel's latest project is to design and build Lumizon, a sustainable community focused on the interconnectedness of all life and world peace.
