Tim Robbins is an Oscar winning actor and director who shares his longtime companion, Susan Sarandon's, off-screen passion for a better world. He has been a vocal champion of the anti-globalization movement and the antiwar movement. When a 15th Anniversary celebration of the movie Bull Durham was canceled at the National Baseball Hall of Fame because of his public stance against the invasion of Iraq in 2003, many were outraged, but the incident clearly pointed out the career-threatening challenges celebrities often face when they speak out against the status quo for change for a better world.
