think it's important to transition to a clean energy future because
when else are we going to do it; we have to do it now. The environment
is under stress and the green energy future is going to help not
only the environment, but also the economy. I think it's important
to address climate change for the same reasons -- they're so interrelated
with the economy because a clean energy future will provide a
lot of new green jobs and will save the planet.. If there isn't
a planet to live on, there's no economy. So I think it's important
for our leaders to act now because there's only today.
The
Global Peace Film Festival is dedicated to programming films on
issues of peace, justice and environmental sustainability and
inspiring and encouraging its audiences to get involved with work
on these issues.
