QUOTES

"Displaced societies are of value. Their issues are our issues."

we are all linked.

getting active for their belief empowers all of us. As it is never about the actual event but what it forces one to process.

The first understanding is that despite years of therapy, many Americans seem to have become more egoistic and fearful rather than less. They are bombarded night and day. It is what stirs the economy but with that has now come the time for a greater responsibility, not less. To understand that we are all linked. That the strength and conviction of the Sahrawis is something that deserves to be highlighted in the conscience of not only America but the world. The same issues of power apply to the 85% working class that makes up America. And to the world that displaced societies are of value. Their issues are our issues. In other words, getting active for their belief empowers all of us. As it is never about the actual event but what it forces one to process.

I’m a huge proponent of the internet, and the idea of building your own allies and not having to wait for a government organization to step forth to help you.

We think about global warming in America, but you can’t imagine how much it is affecting people living in camps without shelter. The winds are stronger, the sun is stronger, the heat is stronger, the rains are stronger.

This is your life!!! The children/husbands/lovers are just one chapter. The stronger we (women) get the more loving we can be- to all. The more accepting we become about- all. And that my friends is why women/mothers are so great because it really is up to us. We teach love. You bet it's hard. And even when you think it's hard you haven't even scatched the surface. So at least get out of your own way and like I said before, it all starts to fall into place (the universe is on your side and helps) then finally you realize that you are actually 'living' your dreams. That it isn't the end result, the awards, the money, etc. But being a fulfilled individual on this earth. Keep quotes on your fridge, in your car... it works. Believe me... it works. So here's to peace within- our only true power. You go get 'em moms!!! The world is really in YOUR hands. And when it gets too much, SLOW DOWN. You set the pace. Yes, YOU!!!
