Nina Streich is the Executive Director of the Global Peace Film Festival, an annual event she founded in 2003 which is "dedicated to programming films on issues of peace, justice and environmental sustainability and inspiring and encouraging its audiences to get involved with work on these issues." Nina began her career as a film editor, and worked on more than 100 trailers for major motion pictures like Raiders of the Lost Ark. She also produced a number of documentaries and served as the Deputy Commissioner of the New Yor City Mayor's Office of Film, Theater & Broadcasting in the 1990s, before moving into managing film festivals like the Newport International Film Festival and the Nantucket Film Festival.
